1. Summary
The website egglab.it does not use cookies, either its own or third-party ones, of any kind. No analytics tools, advertising tracking, profiling or social media sharing tools are installed. Accordingly, pursuant to the Italian Data Protection Authority ruling of 10 June 2021, no consent banner is displayed.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that visited sites send to the user's browser, where they are stored and then re-transmitted to the same sites on subsequent visits. They may perform technical functions (for example keeping an authenticated session open) or analytics and profiling functions. Similar functions can be performed by other tracking technologies (fingerprinting, browser local storage, pixels, etc.).
3. Browsing data (not cookies)
Operating the website nonetheless implies, as with any web service, the recording of some technical information in the server log files: IP address, request timestamp, requested URL, browser type, request outcome. These are not cookies: they are generated on the server side and serve to ensure the website's operation and security. The processing is described in the Privacy Policy, section 2.1.
4. Third-party services
The website embeds no widgets, third-party content, maps or videos that may install cookies or other identifiers. The only external link is to the Barside app (barsidetonight.app), which leads to a separate destination with its own policies: browsing that site is governed by the notices in force on barsidetonight.app and is not covered by this policy.
